Patching up a very leaky defence will surely be one of Arsenal’s main interests during the summer transfer window. Getting Rob Holding back from injury will be massive for the Gunners, but signings are still needed and they’ve had some good news as Soccerlink have touted Arsenal as a potential destination for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.

The Scottish defender is one of the brightest young left-backs around at the moment. He’s certainly Celtic’s most valuable asset and if he is to be sold this summer, then what better place to find yourself leaving Glasgow for than a top-six club in the Premier League? It won’t be easy for Arsenal, though, as Olympique Lyonnais are also after a new left-sided defender this summer and have Tierney in their sights.

Nacho Monreal isn’t getting any younger and Sead Kolasinac’s two seasons in north London have arguably ended up raising more questions than answers, so an addition at No.3 could have a real impact on Unai Emery’s side going into 2019/20.
