Arsenal are due to take on Everton on Sunday in the Women's Super League at Walton Hall Park. Ahead of the game, some fans have seen their tickets cancelled at short notice as the Toffees aim to clamp down on away supporters purchasing home tickets.

Everton said in their email to supporters: "As part of our ticketing checks ahead of this game, we have investigated whether there are potential away supporters who have purchased home tickets.
“To do this, we have looked at accounts without any kind of previous purchase history with Everton Football Club and a non-local home address.
"With this information, we have identified that your account has fallen into a category which suggests that you are an away supporter. As a result of this, your tickets) have been cancelled and all monies have been refunded back to your payment card.”

It's worth noting that there are no specific home and away areas at Walton Hall Park which has a capacity of 2,500. Everton's move is aimed at ensuring away supporters don't buy home tickets but also runs the risk of excluding Toffees who do not live in the local area.
Arsenal have been allocated 250 tickets for the game and have a strong following. Indeed the Gunners broke the WSL attendance record in February when over 60,000 fans packed into the Emirates to see their clash with Manchester United.
